The quote Seth chose for the journaling challenge was by Marcel Proust. I created an honest-to-goodness real journal page with paint and collage. I haven't done that in a while! But, since it was Seth's week, I felt I had to. :-) (I forgot to attribute the quote to Marcel Proust on the collage. Oh well.)

I Am

I'm still alive despite all the viruses I've had to fight the past months. I have no energy, but hopefully the spring sunshine will cure that! Our youngest son's girlfriend brought us some of their farm fresh eggs. It's amazing the colors they come in! We're use to only seeing the white ones in the stores. I liked the colors so much that I had to take a photo with my iPhone and then play with it in Photoshop.

Besides the word "envelop," we were also to draw inspiration from the artists Paul Cezanne and Nikolaus Hautos. Background layers in the first and third digital compilation were from these artists.
