Art Journal Caravan - An Affirmation

On Studio Tangie's blog, Julie Ann asked us to post affirmation pages in the Art Journal Caravan gallery. This is one I created tonight. It's not so much an affirmation as a proof of survival of an abusive childhood.

Oh, your father had NO idea how special you are.

We're ALL glad you are our friend. And how lucky your family is, too.

Well said indeed, Bill.

Hugs

Wow, I'm speechless...thank you for sharing that.

I'm so glad you survived and have proved your father wrong!
Parents have incredible power...they have a golden opportunity to use their experiences for good and shape us into wonderful human beings.

Unfortunately, some parents use their power in the WRONG WAY! Shame on him for talking to you like that!

You know, I bet your father had a tough upbringing. Perhaps heard the SAME message from SOME adult in his life...NEVERTHELESS, I'm glad that you're BREAKING the cycle!

I'm glad that you survived your upbringing and have kids & grandkids that you can spoil rotten with love & affection!

May God Bless you & your family
