ACT 11 - Week 1

This is the muse I created for myself that would be an impetus to keep moving forward in the ARTbundance Certification Course each week.

The photo is a picture of my maternal grandfather Norris Hill. He died when I was young, but he is the one who inspired me to love roses and beautiful gardens. I once wrote an article about him that was published in the Country Homes Country Gardens magazine.

The following digital collage was inspired by the video we watched for this week.

I think this is going to be an exciting 14 week course!

Starting something new is a good way to escape from some of the realities of life for a short while. These two pieces are full of interest and imagination. I like the idea of the sandcastle floating in the air - quite a different kind of 'castle in the sky'.

Beautiful : ) It reminds me of Magritte's painting "Le château des Pyrénées".

Love the vintage pic of Grandpa! With beautiful roses.
And the castles in the air, sand or whatever are a gorgeous dream! Love it Bill! xx

I love both of these collages, Bill. And I'm very touched by the story of how inspired you were by your grandfather. My mother loved roses too and so they always make me think of her!

Great job, Bill!!
