The Creative Coaching Carnival

Marney Makridakis from Artella gave a web presentation last night called "The Creative Coaching Carnival." She was using carnival attractions as metaphors for the different styles of coaching people may use while using the ARTbundance method. ARTbundance stresses the use of art as a means to help people deal with their issues of any kind. We were directed throughout the presentation to draw three carnival attractions - first a ferris wheel, second a carnival midway, and finally a merry-go-round. Since we had to draw quickly, it was like drawing as a kid again. Afterwards, I scanned my three pictures and combined them into one in Photoshop. It was so much fun!

Last Week of ARTbundance Certification Training

Today we attended our last class for ARTbundance Certification Training. The 14 weeks have certainly gone by fast! The class ended with the question, "What day would you like to create for people to celebrate every year?" This is the day I chose:

ARTbundance Play

The ARTbundance Coach Training class I've been taking is already in the 13 th. week. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Only one more week to go. It has been an incredible learning experience! I can't wait to build my website and start offering classes using the ARTbundance tools to help us use creativity as a means to deal with life. Below are some digital compilations I've created during the past couple of weeks.

ARTbundance Certification Training - Communication Style

One of the students in the ARTbundance Certification Training Class I'm in asked if I would do a picture for her that expressed her communication style. She described her style as "kaleidoscopic - glimpses of color & contrast; light & shadow; reflection & renewal. Ever opening to the power & beauty each moment reveals." She added that she loved trees. This is what I created for her:

Digital Compilations For My ARTbundance Certification Classes

I've been too busy with the ARTbundance Certification Classes to keep up with the Soul Food (mixed media) Classes, but I've been creating a lot of digital art. At least that keeps happy. :-)

I'm A Trainee!

Most elements from R. McMeen's kit "Merrill's Spotted Dog." Billizetti and Pierre (dog) by me.

I am going to be developing short, fun, artistic and inspirational online classes. Most importantly, I am planning to offer these classes at an inexpensive price. There are so many classes I would love to take online, but they are simply too expensive for those of us who have been hit hard by the recession. I think online classes should be available to everyone! :-) Stay tuned!
