Three Muses Challenge - Altered Art

The challenge from The Three Muses Blog this week was to take a piece or pieces of art we have already created, and alter them into a new piece of art. I love the background I created for this dance piece.

I decided to alter the colors of the background and add my favorite Eiffel Tower element I've used in several digital collages. This is the new art I ended up with:

Elements from Holliewood and Tangie Baxter's joint digital kit "Queen of Cakes."

Eiffel Tower

I saw the original picture of the Eiffel Tower today (Friday) on Yahoo. It was so "striking" and immediately stirred my French blood. I knew I had to do something with it. The photo was taken by Bertrand Kulik and I do not have any rights to it. This was done strictly for fun. The fantastic photo of the bluebird was taken by my online friend Jan DeBellis. Of course, she may not be my friend once she sees what I did to her wonderful photo.

Trey Ratcliff

I found a photographer's blog today, and his pictures are so amazing that I have to share one. Plus he says it's alright to share on our blogs as long as we link to his site. Here's the link: www.stuckincustoms.com

Incredible photo! All of his photos are like this. Be sure to visit his site.
