It's Great To Be Called An Artist

The painting I did for Soul Art Day is now officially in the online art gallery. It's so nice to be included in "a group of artists." It's difficult for me to call myself an artist even though I've created art my entire life. Such a deal!

Three Muses Challenge - Artist Affirmation

I was asked to choose the theme and create an example of art for this week's challenge at The Three Muses. I chose "artist affirmations."

The background picture I used is a photo I took at Greenfield Village, a wonderful place in Dearborn, Michigan where the homes of famous people have been moved to and set up for people to tour. The machine above was in Thomas Edison's machine shop. I thought it would be wonderful to use in a steampunk piece.
