Take A Word Challenge - Blackbird

I was asked to provide the inspirational picture for this week's Take A Word Challenge. The word was blackbird. I love blackbirds! They can be sinister, funny and sometimes just plain messy. Just ask any scarecrow! Edgar Allan Poe was quite an authority on blackbirds (ravens), too.

If you would like to see all of the works people came up with, please visit http://takeaword.blogspot.com/ where you can find a link to their blogs. Just be sure to duck with all of the blackbirds flying around!

The Raven

This is the original picture I created to use in the hybrid painting below. :O)

Take A Word Challenge - Blackbird

I'm not sure if the raven is the same as a blackbird, but this is what I did for the challenge.
