Take A Word Challenge - Stone Angel

Ring around the rosies,
A pocket full of posies;
Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down.

(Stone angels from a Dr. Who episode.)

I love your Ring around the roses Bill. Beautiful work as always.

Did you know where the rhyme originated?
They say it was during the Black Death in England. People carried a 'posie' of flowers and herbs to breathe as they went about the town.
The plague started with sneezes..'Atishoo..Atishoo'..
They all fall down (if they got it!
xx

I love the dancing angels. Such a lighthearted feel to the piece .... (in spite of June's somber explanation of the old ditty!) Nice work.

I might have known you would be a Dr Who fan. Your angels are unique and beautiful. Imagine how long it must have taken to do the makeup.
