Soul Food Assignment One - Play!

Mystele from Community Thrive (a Ning site) provided us with 3 fantastic videos about just letting go and painting. Mystele paints these fantastic, fun people in an outsider or folk art style. I'm still not comfortable trying to paint a person, so I just played. I went very abstract. :-)

Invention and being creative comes from playing, right? It's lovely.
I wonder what those stacks with pearls depict ... and concluded they might be a kind of cake jellyfish, knowing of your faible for underwater sceneries.

Wow Bill! This is fab. I love the tattoo-art look of the rose and the framed man. You're off to a great start!

I seriously like this, the boy (I think) in the frame, the blue floating round things (can't think of another word - blue marshmallows maybe?), the rose and everything else.
