(Thank you, Bev, for realizing this is not meant to be funny. Anyone who spent the first 20 years of their life being called a stupid idiot would understand. Abuse in any form is not humorous.)
Oh Bill, this is so sad... but so true. I hope it eases your heart a bit every time you create some piece like this. Art really does save lives - it helped me through a heck of a lot of misery this year. Take care, Rosie =)
I find this sad but meaningful. I am sorry anyone has to grow up in a home where they are verbally or otherwise abused. I have heard an expression that goes somewhat like this: whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I sense that you are overcoming some of that bad beginning or maybe have already gotten through it. Sending hugs and good wishes.
Dear Bill, every time you go there I cry in my heart for all the pain you went through, but I hope and pray for the moment when you finally will let it go.

You have the same sense of humour as I do, Bill :)
What is going on in that house, you have a wicked sense of humour.
After reading your comment at Deann's, I have a feeling this isn't meant to be funny but to be therapeutic. Well done, my friend!
I know this is not a bit funny. Hope making this piece made it feel a bit better, Hugs xx
I sense sadness and survival, Bill. Your image is unique and very thought provoking. Hugs, Gayle.
Very heart felt piece!
It does us all good to remember that not every home is a safe a and happy place........very thoughtful piece.

Ah, Bill, it's good to see you excorcizing your demons. This is a poignant, telling and very brave piece.
Thank you for sharing your heart my friend...may you soar above the pain of your beginnings and know that you are wonderful in every way!!!
This is very confronting and thought provoking! Let's hope someone who "needs" to see it does see it!
Heartbreaking, and, so true, Bill.

Great take on this theme.
You can put a question mark after the words "home, sweet home" on your page, this makes one think!
