I'm Published in Pasticcio Quartz!

If you haven't seen Pasticcio Quartz, published by Angela Cartwright and Sarah Fishburn, now is the time to get your first copy. (You might remember Angela Cartwright from "Lost In Space.") I have a digital collage published in the new issue #14. It's very exciting! Pasticcio Quartz is one the most beautiful art magazine/books I have ever seen.

Here is a description of issue 14: "Pasticcio Quartz 14 rocks the tried and true, with book reviews, entertaining quotes, window shopping, and of course just a dash of art history to show you where it all began. Yet it's also New and Improved! Not a single one of the artists in Palais d'art has ever graced the pages of Pasticcio before. Discover new gems in our museum style gallery! Bridget Davies, Seth Apter, Lisa Hoffman, Reva Solomon, Jill Berry, September Gerety, Donald Hendricks each contributed art and articles galore! Looking for a sign? We'll even get your dormant sign-making knack in gear!"

Here's the link to all issues of Pasticcio Quartz page:  http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/cartwrightandfishburn
and this is a link to order this particular Issue 14:  http://bit.ly/PasticcioQuartz14

I have to warn you that Pasticcio Quartz is a little bit expensive for some of us starving artists. Once you see the high quality, though, you will see the price is well justified. By the way, it's 60 pages full of articles, instruction and art!

I want to thank my wonderful artist and writer friend Marney Makridakis for giving me the courage to start sharing my art. I've had several digital collages and poems published in her beautiful magazine Artella - The Waltz of Art, Words and Spirit. Then she included two of my collages in her book Creating Time - Using Creativity to Reinvent the Clock and Reclaim Your Life. My collage that is published in Pasticcio Quartz was created in response to one of the prompts in her book. I have an Amazon link for Marney's book in the sidebar if you would like to check it out. It's a book every artist should read!

I bet you didn't think (when you were in short pants) that you would one day cross paths with the young heroine of "Lost in Space"! Congratulations, Bill, and thankyou for sharing the information of this publication with your fellow bloggers. Bravo.
