Every time I look down on this timeless town
whether blue or gray be her skies.
Whether loud be her cheers or soft be her tears,
more and more do I realize:
I love Paris in the springtime.
I love Paris in the fall.
I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles,
I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles.
I love Paris every moment,
every moment of the year.
I love Paris, why, oh why do I love Paris?
Because my love is near.
whether blue or gray be her skies.
Cole Porter

Oi! Oi!
It seems to me I have heard Audrey Hepburn sing this tune, but which movie I don't recall. Such a great tune, and I long to learn the truth of it someday by actually going there! Sometimes I look at that Chagall with the cat in the window staring at the Eiffel Tower and wish I was there sitting next to him. I MUST get there someday I say!
Oooh that is one of my favourite songs Bill. I shall be singing that all day! Lovely colourful piece you've made here. Wonderful! have a good weekend! xx
I went there once. Never heard anyone humming that beautiful song, tho!
Beautiful piece, Bill. It captures the mood of that song! And thanks....it will be in my head all day now!
Was there ever a better lyric writer than Cole Porter? I love this one, Bill.
Yes, I see, you love Paris! Hahaha!
Your graphic interpretation of these lyrics is GREAT! You rock Bill!
