Steampunk Class Week 2

I was having trouble trying to photograph this butterfly. I'm still trying to get use to the camera on my iPhone. I finally put it in some sun and stood it on its side. (It's a cigar box.) The wings stand up a bit when you are looking at it in real life. Creating it was an adventure! Big difference from creating digital pictures.
I tried taking another picture, and this may be better. :O)

This is awesome. I love how the wings are different. What goes into the box? Class notes and doodads?

Very nice, Bill! It's good to set off a few new neurons doing things the cut-and-paste way, isn't it? I find I will be having a fun time with my digital work and then, will find myself craving to make something else, something tangible. I switch out working on the computer with sewing dresses for my vintage dolls or collaging things with scraps of old paper!

Thank you, by the way, for your visit to The Tearoom!! That's the fun of the virtual tea: guests may indulge as much as they wish!! You are welcome back anytime!
