Soul Food Week 7
The lesson for week 7 was about painting a bird using Golden Iridescent Bronze and Gesso. Unfortunately, I don't have that paint, and between being sick and the horrible weather Michigan is having, I decided to just use what I have. I'm sorry to say my poor bird got caught out in the snow!

Bill, this is totally adorable. What a dear little bird, dark against the light. He's saying "weather? what weather?". Love his little claws and his sweet little face, which, although sweet, has also quite a strong personality. I love your stormy snowy sky too.
What a wonderful bird. I love how the gesso on his breast looks like snow covered trees. Lovely background too.
Oh, I love your dear little bird, Bill and wish I could bring him a tiny mug of hot cocoa to warm him up!
