Take A Word Challenge #45 - Butterflies

After looking at the two beautiful samples using butterflies created by my friend June, I remembered a story I wrote some time ago title "Lumina." I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I'm a big Star Trek fan. I wanted to try writing what is known as "fan fiction." It definitely fits this week's Take A Word Challenge - Butterflies.

Maybe now I should get busy and illustrate it!

Well, I couldn't sleep, so I created a picture to go with this post. I do hope you'll read the story I have linked above. The illustration is just a little something extra.

Aaaaahhhhhhhh! Sweet Lumina! I have just sat here and read your story Bill. I used to watch Star Trek years ago and I pictured Will quite well. Beautifully written and I was carried along to the end, almost with tears in my eyes.
Your pictured Lumina is beautiful! Just wonderful! Hugs xx

Bill, you have missed your way, or may be it will become a well trodden path. Your story is lovely and now we have an illustration to go with it.

Awesome butterfly Bill! Love your collage art! I too am a fan of Star Trek! Read the story and I loved it; I could actually see them all in my mind! I do miss the series a lot! Fabulous work! Live long and prosper! (Vulcan hand symbol here)

I am not a star trek person at all but I do like your lumina composition.

BUTTERFLIES -- who doesn't like a pretty butterfly! June selected an excellent word for the challenge.
